Chelmsford Grand Award Winners

Marconi Ponds Win First Award

Congratulations Friends of Marconi Ponds.  More than 700 votes were cast in the first round of voting with the winner receiving just over half.

The February round is now underway with 3 new projects up for voting.

Apply in February to win April Award

We are now open to applications for the April public vote. 

All eligible applications received in February will be put forward for shortlisting.  A panel of Borough Councillors and an independent external representative select three projects (the shortlist!) that will then be put up for the public vote.

Our first grand award winners!

The Friends of Marconi Ponds win the first ever Chelmsford Grand Award.

The group are going to use the award to purchase equipment and materials to build a trim trail to run through the nature reserve.

Apply now for the March Award!

Apply before Tuesday 31st January 2012 for a chance to win the March Grand Award. 

All eligible applications, received by the end of January, will go forward for shortlisting.  Three groups will be shortlisted.

Details of the three shortlisted groups and their projects will appear on our website in February .
